Gymkhana right around the corner

Halloween Gymkhana October 26 Doors open at 12:30 and gymkhana starts at 1.

Then our monthly gymkhanas are scheduled for:

-November 23

-December 14

-January 18

-February 22

-March 29

-April 19 (Wind Up)

Welcome all fellow horse enthusiasts.  We are not a point’s based group but give prizes to all members who have come to half plus one events. We are focused on fun and fellowship and giving novice to advance riders the opportunity to advance their skills in a slower paced environment. Also everyone is responsible to help cleanup and pitch in where needed at gymkhanas since we are a volunteer based group!!!

Classes and Rules

Age as of day of gymkhana

Lead Line: Has not attained 10^th birthday and still needs leading or parental assistance.

10 & Under: Has not reached 10^th birthday but can ride on their own.

11-13: Anyone who has not reached the age of 14

14-17: Anyone who has not reached the age of 18.

Ladies: Any woman over the age of 18.

Men: Any man over the age of 18.

Possible classes run are barrels, poles, stakes, flags, keyhole, thread the needle or other games. These are decided day of event and rotation is decided day of event by the committee.

Fees

Daily ride fees $10 per rider and every additional horse is $10.

Must have a current Lakedell Ag Society Membership $10 per family new year started October 1, 2025.

*All manure must be picked up in and outside arena*

The ag is always looking for help at their events please volunteer to help out at any events that you are able to.

Cancellations due to extreme winter weather will be communicated via our FB Group likely on the morning of the gymkhana.  Please spread the word on these days.
